We want to encourage good saving habits in our young members, 17 years of age and under. That's why
we offer these members a High Yield Youth Savings Account that earns 5.00%* APY on their
savings deposit up to and including $500!
This account is perfect to get your child on the right path to saving for their future. Choose
to set up Direct Deposit or Automatic Transfers to your child(s) account each pay period making saving
easy and automatic!
Not yet a Kirby Kangaroo or CU Succeed Member?
Members of the Kirby Kangaroo Club, 9 Years & Under and the CU Succeed Club, 10 - 15 Years of Age, receive informative newsletters throughout the year that speak to them about money in a way they can understand. They can also participate in activities and contests to earn prizes.

If you are age 17 or under, your regular share account will automatically
qualify as a High Yield Youth Savings Share Account.
Earn 4.89% APR for balances up to and including $500, and .40% APR for any remaining
balance over $500. For example, 2.70 % APY is the blended yield for an account with a
$1,000 balance ($500 at 4.89% APR and $500 at .40% APR).

16 to 24)

automatically receive Brass CU magazine.
Brass CU was founded by a 20 year old college student and
the articles are written by people your age, in the language
you speak. You'll receive the magazine four times a year,
with articles about money matters that matter to you.

new savings club, CU Succeed, is designed just for teens,
and is the perfect opportunity for young adults to learn
about financial responsibility, how to budget, how to establish
good credit and more!

Open a Youth Club Account
now! Our online form is easy and convenient:
- Simply accept the Membership
Agreement and fill out the Membership Application.
List your child first as the primary
member/owner and yourself (the parent/guardian)
as the joint owner.
- Print and sign the Membership Application.
If your child is 13 years or older, have them sign their
own name.
- Mail the form to StarTrust Federal Credit
Union, Attn: Financial Services Dept, PO Box 4472, Houston,
TX 77210-4472.
- Don't forget to send photocopies of 2 forms
of acceptable identification (your child's social security
card and joint owner's driver's license / ID).
